Loris Azarro was born in Tunisia to Italian parents on February 9, 1933. Growing up in the Mediterranean, his life was filled with the simple pleasures of simply enjoying the sun and the sea. Loris considers blue, the color of the sea, as the color that he truly represents. He considers himself someone who is truly in tune with nature. His cherished childhood memories were the sources of his inspiration in creating his collections.
In 1962, he went to Paris to start his own clothing line. Six years after he started, his business was already a great success. He was famous for making extravagant dresses for the rich and famous of France. His creations were often embellished with elaborate beading patterns worn by celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Marisa Berenson, Sophia Loren and Kate Winslet.
Loris Azarro has a wide range of clothing and accessories for women and men. In 1975 she decided to venture into the perfume business. She launched her first fragrance for women called “Couture”. In the year 2000, she launched a men’s fragrance called “Chrome”, which became her signature fragrance. Through the years, Azarro was not only known for his fantastic clothing collection but also for his fragrances.
