Important installation requirements:

There are 5 different combinations to choose from, sound only, movement only, sound and movement, movement and tick, also tick, sound and movement.

Alarm and vibration:
The motion sensor pads that fit under the mattress have adjustable sensitivity, a dial on the back of the baby unit adjusts the sensitivity of the sensor pads. Ambient temperature monitoring: The ambient temperature in the baby’s room is monitored on the parent unit, it is represented by a “sun and snowflake” icon. Can be programmed as a temperature range: lower to higher temperature setting, alarm will sound if temperature moves outside of preset conditions.
Hold function: To prevent the alarm from sounding when you lift your baby, you must remember to turn off the monitor or use the ‘Hold’ function. The standby function doesn’t seem to be used as much as turning off the monitor, but I would suggest that it’s a safer alternative, as it’s easy to forget things like a new sleep-deprived mom, like turning the monitor back on. The hold function can be activated by holding down the ‘hold button’ until a flashing ‘H’ appears, this allows you to lift your baby without turning off the monitor. The parent unit will beep every minute as a reminder that the monitor is on standby.
Extra settings:
Be quiet:The monitor can be temporarily silenced for 2 minutes.
Reception: There are 8 different channels available to avoid interference and static. For feedback, keep the parent unit and the baby unit at least 10 feet (3 m) apart; however static can occur if the 2 units are too far apart, they should also be set to the same channel to avoid distortion / interference.
Pagination: To locate the parent unit, press the delete button on the front of the baby unit. This is useful when you have been walking around with a parent unit and have left it somewhere.
How to avoid false alarms:
Turn off the baby unit or put the parent unit on standby before lifting your baby from the crib.
Do not tuck any bedding under the mattress between the sensor pad and the mattress.
The sensor pad must rest on a completely rigid surface.
