Since civilization began, there have been two factions that tried to control our lives. On the one hand, religion gives us a set of rules to live by, usually an interpretation of a book like the Quran, the Christian Bible, Baghavad Gita, etc. Each country has its spiritual leaders who set the moral tone of society and seek influence in the government from their communication with the Gods!
The secular faction believes in the rule of law and in building a society without religious influence. They feel that the country should be governed for the good of the people and not for the good of the church.
Governments are often in conflict with religion and many times, as in the Middle Ages, when the church took control of society in Europe, religion completely stopped the progress of mankind. The same could be said of modern Iran, Afghanistan and many other countries where religion dominates the government. Even Galileo was ridiculed by the church when he showed gravity by dropping objects from Pizza’s leaning tower. The church was afraid that Magellan would fall off the flat earth when he sailed around it, and if the Catholic Church had gotten its way, America probably never would have existed!
How does all this apply to network marketing?
Well, in my 12 years of involvement with multi-level marketing companies, it has been a constant battle between clients and business builders. We are told to look for those who will influence others rather than finding a group of customers for our products. Because of this, many people are put off by the concept of asking people to join them in a network marketing opportunity, especially if they don’t feel like they are making the money everyone talks about in their network marketing business. . If you are lucky enough to have great products, it will be easier to find a group of product users than business builders. After all, all MLM companies offer a way to make money by hiring leaders, don’t they?
We have two clear paths to success. Build your multi-level marketing business by adding and replacing a group of product users, or start looking for the leader who will change your life overnight.

This is what I have learned. I can show you how to build a marketing system to attract a large number of buyers for your MLM marketing company’s products, enrolling them as distributors along the way. Among them, you will find some of the people you want as partners for your MLM marketing business. Not too harsh. More difficult is crawling through countless “opportunity seekers” to find a couple of people ready to go to work and change their circumstances. Most just won’t do what it takes, avoiding talking to people or asking their contacts to join.
A huge list of people interested in the product is created. I’ve done this. Then send an email informing them of the network marketing opportunity. What happens? Well, a lot of people unsubscribe and you lose them as customers! This is the truth and it has happened to me several times along the way.
Can you prevent this?
Well yes, I think you can. One way to operate your MLM marketing is to lead the business every time and let someone else get the customers for the product. After all, customers usually only stay for a few months and then move on to the next wonder product. The other is to send a carefully crafted email to let them know that you are so impressed with these products that you are looking for a partner to help you spread the word. Make it subtle enough so that you don’t scare customers off and pique the curiosity of those who might be looking for additional income, and perhaps an MLM opportunity.
Believe me, a direct opportunity email to your customer list will lose you a lot of business, and that is the true purpose of this message. Going back to my analogy, if the president tells all of us to go to church, what do we do? If you tell us to obey the laws, we listen to you.
You need MLM marketing business builders to create a great residual income; You cannot do it alone. So be careful how you communicate with your product’s user base, and in the end, you will have a much higher volume to receive payments. You can either pull your business builders out of your customer base, or go out and be prepared for a lot of “no’s” and just keep scrutinizing until you find a “yes.” It would do both so that you can make money while finding your leaders and show that you can make money from your network marketing business. This is the ultimate answer to the question, should I focus on customers or business partners? Keep them separate and you will never know where the diamond in your Network Marketing Business will come from!
