Preview: The writing of the two-page sketch of “The Lord of the Retina” was a supplement to the story “The Soldiers of Nirut” and to present the complete Nirut Stories. It tells how Nirut came to Retina, before the battle and war in SSARG. We’ve already seen the war and the three stories leading up to the war, but how did he come to Retina and acquire it as a launch pad or stage for his warships? In this little sketch, written on the afternoon of Saturday 07-14-2007, on the platform of Sophie’s house, you will now know and discover how it all happened.

(The Story:) In those days before King Nirut went to Retina, the moon that obliterates the SSARG, his legend preceded him, like his father’s; for the legend of him grew deep among the Lords and Kings within the planetary system of Lihterb, within the Black Galaxy.

In the House of King Sorle’el, (also known as the Angel King), who was friends with the late Blue King, now dead, seemed to have acquired a hardened heart towards Nirut. He ruled over the entire site of the moon on the east side, as the Great River of the Retina divided two kingdoms and was also a safe zone, being for anyone who wanted to live between the two kingdoms, and a large sprawling bridge, called The Long Bridge, which touched each side of the ground of each king.

King Nirut sent a messenger (Yahoo) to ask King Sorle’el for permission to use his soil as a launching area for an invasion and occupation (war) he was planning in a year in SSARG. The Retina King did not respond to his messenger, and the old king sent him back to his planet Lihterb.

Sorle the Lesser, as he was known, and prince of the eastern kingdom, was very much in favor of allowing King Nirut to use his Kingdom for the invasion, knowing that his friendship was valuable, and most likely, if not allowed, he would invade the Eastern Kingdom and leave it in ruins, as it was known. So there were more crickets in the pot than one expected.

By not responding to Nirut on this matter, he only irritated him, because he knew that he had welcomed the Great Mermaid, who conquered SSARG, long ago, and her mother Jokeleen, why not him? It was a haunting question for him, one with no answer. So, he sent his Yahoo messenger back, to get a yes or a no, but only to talk to the prince about this matter and make a deal with him, one that would ensure his kingdom would fall back into his hands again. once the war was over. completed without incident. And if he was a no, well, then he would have to prepare like SSARG would, for war.

Maybe he was too proud, King Nirut, but at the time he had the title of Emperor of the Black Galaxy, conquered mostly by his father, but he was doing a good job of picking up where he left off, and he deserved it. the title, that is, before giving it to anyone else.

And so the order was sent, secretly, to Prince Sorle, to meet Yahoo, at the Kura Tower, a great tower along the Great Retina River, a port, military complex of the King. There, in the tower, they would meet, if the king did not change his mind in due time.

Faithful Marisol

After a year of silence, the King of Retina completely banned the use of his planetoid for King Nirut’s invasion plans, openly and publicly saying that he would punish anyone who helped the king and destroy the spaceships when they landed, coming of Lihterb or Toso.

Immediately after that statement, Yahoo was secretly sent to visit the young prince to give him an ultimatum. They met in the port city, called Annemor, in the Great Tower of Kura (eventually this tower would be duplicated by the presumptives, from the earth, around 16,000 BC, who would build such a tower on the shores of what is now called Sea Black, in the dawn of Atlantis, and being ruled by its capital city. Back then, it was more of a valley of sand and duns, and so on. But let me get on with Marisol, because she had a duty to perform for her husband , Prince.

The prince was told that five hundred spaceships would soon land on Retina, and if his father hindered a single ship, Nirut would take command of the kingdom and kill everyone in it, this was not to the prince’s liking, so they made a pack , the prince and Yahoo, when he set out for the second time, and his council went into hiding until it was time to implement the plan.

Great was the anger for power in the Prince, and that his father did not listen to reason, because this desire for power, unleashed and with exclusive domain at his will, once Nirut left Retina, prompted him to devise a plan of the most horrible with Yahoo. .

He would use his wife to become his vessel and servant in this most dangerous matter; therefore, he began at that time to prepare.

The day before the ships landed at Retina, he ordered his wife to go to the king in his chambers, for he had long looked at her lustfully, and many times had flattered her sweet as honey with his tongue, had it not been for his son, he would have taken it voluntarily or reluctantly. She had entered his room, dropped her dress to the floor and used her power and her feminist secrets to subdue the king, and he offered her no battle, she could not trust even the greatest of his servants, yet he he felt that he could trust her, and desire and joy were in his heart, and she was cunning, very skillful it seemed, to win what she did not want by insolence or force, she would do it by delicacy, and in the process she would kill the man. king, because the prince could not. And it should be noted; she did not become the prince’s wife for untold riches or worship, but for unrevealed favor, deceit and kindness, seeking to put this man in chains long before he knew it. So she let the old man lie on her, and look for her happiness, she couldn’t understand his ancient language, he murmured something in an ancient dialect of Retina (‘You are faithful to your husband, I have seen this in the prophecy, the old seer told me fifty years ago, you would come…’) and she pulled out a poisoned tooth of a snake, hid in a secret place between his body, and while they made love, she pricked him in the side with it, but went to the lightly, and she doubted it wasn’t deep enough, but he fell dead to the side.

Sorle the Lesser came in, proclaimed that the king had died of a heart attack making love to one of his many mistresses, it was all apparently too simple, Marisol thought. And the next day, the ships landed and King Nirut was greeted with a wide variety of gifts and the elite of the kingdom. And now, King Sorle II praised his wife, but she was afraid of this murder, and she told the king that her tooth had only punctured the king’s skin. He was laid to rest in a large tomb inside, and deep in the earth, a kind of mausoleum, the coffin was made of marble.

death awakes

In the next two days there was a change in the land and in the hearts of the Retinaions, they loved King Nirut, he was a hero to many, but the new King, King Sorle II, was controversial among his own kind.

Ships went down one by one, and camps were set up, tents set up, food supply lines set up. SSARG enemies and desert rebels in SSARG were calculated according to risk factor. During these early days, Nirut tried to humble himself with the townspeople, the castle staff, preferring a quiet relationship with the Retinaions if possible, another wise thing his father told him, ‘…before the war, limit yourself, stand firm. your secret thoughts, welcome it by others, use what you want, not what they want. Hold everyone hostage, even if they don’t know it. In fact, he learned a lot in a short period of time.

It is he whose name is not said now, the King in the tomb, the mausoleum, this now worries him, proposing his name, I must add Marisol, because she got up and disappeared one day. The Prince never found out why, but King Nirut did, and here is the King’s own diary:

“I had asked my seer, where was Marisol? Because we were all looking for her, and I went to find out, and she was where my seer said she would be, but first let me explain:

“The old King of Retina awoke in his tomb, made of marble, fifty feet deep under the Retina floor, in a sold granite mausoleum, in a marble coffin. He awoke in the faceless darkness of his people. In his castle, he was written off as dead. But dead he wasn’t. The poison paralyzed his body, slowed his heartbeat, and this was his third day. He had been awake for a day, and his mind wasn’t so good. before his death and burial, now it was even worse, he was going insane. However, he had prepared for this, as he had searched for his own seals fifty years before this, and with a strong kick to the back of the tomb. , was opened, because he had the tomb built twenty years earlier, with this in mind.

“Not very soon he got to his feet, and crawled back into the Kingdom, like a ghost, and the few guards who saw him rubbed their eyes in dismay, and backed away thinking he was just that, a ghost. And he crawled into Queen Marisol’s bedchamber, and the old king scooped up the queen, disguised her under sheets, and carried her back to the mausoleum, in the process sedating her, lightly responsive, but frail to fight.

What followed next was horrible. He had a second coffin built, out of wood, with nails, a hundred of them through the wood and out the other side. And he laid her down, and he with her, and dropped the wooden lid on her. And with a pull of rope, the roof collapsed on the coffin, not enough to get through, because there was marble on top. And when Marisol woke up, in the darkness of the wick, the torment began. If she moved up, the nails were there. ‘Sacrifice,’ said the old king, lying beside her laughing, ‘We are the sacrifice for King Nirut.’ She lit a candle, it was no more than an inch long, but he wanted to look at her face, and death was in her. He commented: ‘The plot was always against the two of us, I saw it a long time ago. The poison won’t kill you, but these next bitter days will, and you’ll see, my dear, power is abhorrent, that’s the way it is. (And she blew out the candle.) “‘
