Being frustrated with my lack of success in network marketing is exactly what motivated me to find the truth. What I found was so intriguing; that I have dedicated my professional life to helping others turn their sad stories into success stories.
I’m going to make a backup. Just over 15 years ago, I was introduced to MLM. They brought me to a very famous company and let me figure things out on my own. Needless to say, I realized that I didn’t really like network marketing after that experience. To be honest, I just didn’t like the person who recruited me… he got me to join and I never saw him again. Sounds familiar?
What’s crazy is that the experience of being recruited and left for dead just left me wanting more. It was what the recruiter told me when we had our initial conversation that got me going. He told me that I could set my own hours. He told me that I could be financially independent by joining his business. He told me many things, but he left out some that were very important.
You see… he never gave me any system to duplicate. I was never trained. I was never mentored. They told me to take a pencil and paper, write down 100 names and ask them to go to a hotel. I was told I had to get a bunch of “NO’s” and eventually someone would say yes. I ran! Sounds familiar?
The dream, however, remained within me. I knew, somehow, that I could be a successful network marketer. I had seen people who were successful every day. It took me a few years and a few stumbles before I found the answer to my frustration with network marketing, but when I did… wow! I learned the truth about network marketing companies, heavyweight recruiters, the lies and much more. How I found the answers came in a way I would never expect.
After a few semi-successful years and a few MLM companies blowing up in my face, I had almost decided to turn my back on the dream. You know, my dream to be a successful network marketer. I lost money on internet money games, shady pyramid schemes and all the flashy registration games you see everywhere… I was finished.
Then in 2016 a friend of mine approached me asking me to join a business of his. I didn’t really like the deal they offered me, however it revived the dream. So, I decided at that point that I would do things a little differently. I decided to find a mentor who has been successful doing exactly what I want to do. After so many dead ends of “gurus” and “experts” wanting to charge millions and millions of dollars to “train” me, I found what I was looking for.
Ever since I met my mentor, he set me up for success and he is the REAL DEAL! Since then, I have dedicated my professional life to helping others, like myself, for free and with no hidden agenda, become successful network marketers.
