Tennis is one of the sports worth playing both in real and virtual life. In Tennis Mania, players will be pitched with a ghost player (the real player’s skills are recorded by the server and then uploaded as if you were playing with a real player) in a one-on-one match.
The game is simple and follows the rules of tennis, there will be fouls and the score will be counted according to where the ball lands. All the player has to do is make sure the ball they hit lands on the other side of the court and hopefully they don’t foul.
The game is quite easy as there are only 3 keys in use. The keys consist of the left and right arrow keys and the space bar. Running around the screen and getting a better position is pretty useless in this game as I found that the AI can do a super accurate counter even if you shoot it across the court. Also, players will keep losing the tennis ball as it flies to the other side of the court. The game is rather one-sided, it is very difficult for me to score even one shot at times.
Graphic
Very simple and not much can be said about the graphic part.
Sound
There is no music, just the sound of the ball being hit and bouncing. This is quite disappointing.
conclusion
I would really like to play tennis on Facebook, but Tennis Mania is not one of them. In addition to the game being unbalanced, I also find that the app loves to post your wall status and flood your friends’ Facebook walls as well. Avoid this game for all reasons unless you really love tennis.
